Firewatch – Intro & Day 1

Meet Henry.

To be honest he’s not a very nice bloke and he certainly has lots of issues. In order to get away from it all he takes a job as a fire watchman in Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming.

What qualifications does he have? None as far as I can tell!

And if you thought your summer stint up in a wooden tower was going to be nice an quiet then think again! On just our first day we’re having to deal with teens letting off fireworks which is against the law.

Yes, Henry is the fun police so we need to make our way across the park and confiscate the fireworks (and booze – yeay!).

Firewatch is a 2016 walking simulator from Campo Santo and is currently available for Free on Xbox Game Pass (as of July 2026)
