Star Trek: Bridge Commander: Episode 2 – Know Thine Enemy Part 1 of 2
After supplying the Geki colony, we receive an emergency signal from a Cardassian freighter who are being attacked by the Romulans. Even though none of the Dauntless crew are fans of the Cardassians, Saffi who is a stickler for the rules, reminds us that it’s our duty to help any ship in distress no matter who they are.
We head to the distress signal and find the freighter Karoon being attacked by our Romulan friend from earlier. The Romulans are claiming that the Karoon is carrying illegal cargo but we can’t tell for sure as the freighter’s cargo bay has a deepening field around it — not suspect at all!
After seeing off the Romulans, we’re contacted by Admiral Liu at Starbase 12. Starfleet Intelligence is nervous about Ferengi smugglers poking around the Serris system. They aren’t just smuggling trinkets; they’re moving tech that could be dangerous so we’re being sent to see what’s happening.
