My main weapon when I used to play Unreal Tournament and Counter Strike was always the sniper rifle (aging myself right there, aren’t I?)
With modern games you now have the assault rifle which combines the range of a sniper rifle with the speed of an SMG but as I’ve levelled up Vanguard’s 3 main Assault rifles I thought I’d go back to my snipey snipe snipe roots.
I’ll be honest, the KAR98K is *not* a great primary weapon on any map but I would seriously consider it as a partner to the MP40 if you have unlocked the “carry 2 main weapons” perk and don’t like the Automaton or STG44
With that being said, I didn’t do too bad – although I went back to the Automaton at the end of this video!
