The Enterprise has temporarily fixed their dilthium crystal issue but they won’t last for long! After reaching the planet Lekythos, Spock determines that there are high-grade dilithium crystals somewhere on the planet. After beaming down an investigation of the surface reveals a world seemingly haunted by ghosts. As the crew explores the eerie landscape, they discover a hidden entrance to a secret underground lair. The mission shifts from a paranormal investigation to a rescue operation as the away team works to uncover the technology required to awaken a slumbering race hidden beneath the surface.
